Creating the Digipak Poster
In order to create my digipak poster I started out with lots of pictures of the fire which I then adjusted the shadow levels and highlights to give the black and white background. Then I took sections of the flames and cut them out using the lasso tool an the magic wand tool then from those flames I also copied them and inverted them to create a colour contrast. To create the title for my poster I wrote the name personality shifts in both red and white font, I then placed the white font underneath the red one and made it slightly bigger to give it a boarder. I then added a photo of my character where I changed the colour balance and added a filter onto it to make it brighter and more ghostly which fits into the heavy metal theme. In new fonts I added the name of the album and the other key institutional information in other fonts to make it easier to read. I then added a QR code and social media logos to the bottom along with the producing company and the website to finish it off.

What have you learned from your audience feedback?
I conducted an audience feedback survey on survey monkey, these were the results to my 10 questions.
Evaluation 3 from Keeva Holder
After speaking to various people and collecting the results from my survey I have concluded that I need to tweak the second half of the music video to make sure that the lip sync is better and I would also crop the sign shot so that they are not included to make the shot more atmospheric. The majority of the people that I spoke to said that they really enjoyed the music video and the quick cuts made for an atmospheric piece which fitted the genre and creepy theme of my music video. Perhaps, I could also do some more shots of smashing things but from different angles which I think more poeple would also enjoy.

How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
How did you create your brand?
Well I started this brand idea from my music, after thinking
of all the lyrics and ideas for songs I went around looking for inspiration. After
looking at other heavy metal artists and how they created their own brands I started
to think about my own. I wanted to base something around split personalities as
that’s the whole point of this album. After creating the music video where I starred
as two different people working in unison I decided that the best way to bring
forth that idea was to make the digipak cover based around my different
personalities. Therefore, I used the two different characters from my music
videos throughout my digipak. I also wanted to show how easy it was for
different people to have a darker side, that is why my artist created the
inverted colour for both characters. I also tried to keep this theme in my
poster for my album poster. Therefore, I used my ‘evil’ person on my poster as
that the most recognisable version of me and my brand image. Another theme
which I also kept going through my all my music videos, digipak album and
poster was the theme of fire and flames to light up the darkness. It was used
in my music video as an explosion and dramatic aspect and it was the print on
my CD and one of the backgrounds on my poster.
How did you make your products?
Well after long discussions with my producers and artists,
we thought of what themes I wanted to use in my product, as I mentioned previously,
the themes of fire and split personalities were a key factor in all my
products. It was important to me that these items matched each other to make
sure that my followers knew that these were my products. After a few photoshoots,
I felt happy with my overall pictures and I thought that the minimal colour correction
on photoshop helped keep my images clean with only distortion being the major
thing that is noticeable in my products. There were constant changes to my
filming for the music video, we were constantly deciding on new and exciting
things that we could film and ad to my music video. Being able to look back at
all the footage on the days that we filmed was really helpful and made me see
if there was anything that I wasn’t happy about in the shots.
Do you think that your products work together?
Yes, I think that all of my products work together really well, they are all following the same thing and they all relate back to my brand image which I think is the main thing that needs to happen. I don't think that I would change anything if I had to remake the products as I believe that everything works really well together.

Twelfth Edit
By doing so many edits in order to get everything as I wanted it to be, I have been able to fine tune lots of different aspects of my music video in order to make it better. With each edit I have gained more experience at lip-syncing as well as putting pace into my videos whilst creating a narrative that fits my genre. All of these edits have made me realise how important it is to have lots of footage for music videos with lots of B-roll footage to fill in the gaps where there s no story or lip syncing so that the audience has cutaways from the singing. With this edit I fell that I have almost perfected the music video to my standard ready for it to be shown to an audience for feedback.
